Returns Policy

Diamond Imports guarantee and ensure that all of our diamonds and diamond jewellery is of the highest quality and is exactly as stated by us on our web site. Our loose diamonds are guaranteed by the accompanying third party independent diamond certification which has been quality assessed by us before shipping, delivery or passing to the client.

Diamond Imports adheres to an honest & real pricing system and does not offer false discounts, hold sales or negotigation on our diamond prices. We deal ethically and are confident that we offer competitive prices with no hidden extras and provide the quality assurance of an Independently Certified Diamond with complete disclosure of the diamond specifications and the diamond facts.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase as there appears to be a discrepancy, or if the goods delivered are different from your order, please contact us immediately. We will do our utmost to investigate and resolve any inconsistency.

Diamond Imports offers a fourteen (14) day customer approval guarantee. Customers may report any item within 14 days from the delivery of the merchandise for a claim against faults, damage or inconsistency. Diamond Imports warranties all merchandise against defects in manufacturing and workmanship. Diamond Imports is not responsible for those items subjected to excessive wear, abuse, or physical damage whether accidental or otherwise. Additionally the insurance and protection of your merchandise is solely your responsibility, and Diamond Imports shall not be held liable for any loss, theft, or resulting damages whatsoever that may occur.

In the event that a resolution can not be found to completely satisfy the customer, we are happy to offer a 14 day money back guarantee from date of delivery offering a full refund less any extraordinary expenses of handling, shipping, insurance, taxes, bank transaction fees and any costs that have been incured to Diamond Imports associated with the purchase if necessary. All returns must follow the Return Process as detailed below.

Please note that this policy ONLY applies to goods that have not been custom made or sighted (seen) by the customer before purchase. Goods that have been sighted or custom made can not be returned for credit.

Diamond Imports guarantee that our products will be delivered in new condition without damage or fault in craftsmanship.

If the product was damaged or faulty in its craftsmanship at the time of delivery to you (the customer), you may return the product within 14 days (of the delivery date) by following the Return Process as outlined below and Diamond Imports will replace that item with a new item of the same as ordered.

Diamond Imports are not able to refund the shipping costs or any other incurred costs such as insurance as they have been incurred.

The guarantee will not apply if the product is damaged after the date of delivery.

Diamond Imports reserve the right to repair, replace or correct a defect rather than providing a refund as we deem appropriate.

By making a purchase, order or transaction from Diamond Imports the customer acknowledges and accepts the Term & Conditions and Return Policy as detailed on our web site www.diamondimports.com.au and is therefore bound by these Term & Conditions and Return Policy.

  Easy Return Process For Online Purchases
To return an item(s) or claim a refund for item(s) purchased online you must first notify us within 14 days by phone, fax or e-mail to advise us of the problem with the product and complete a Return Request Form. Please log in to your account then do an Order History search which is located under the Cart drop down menu, click the search button, click on the invoice you wish to request a return then create the Return Request by filling out the details and any comments.

Once Diamond Imports receives the Return request we will authorise it and you will be sent a Return Merchandise Authorisation Number - RMA #. You can check the status or your Return request by clicking the Returns tab under the Cart menu when you are logged in.

Diamond Imports will under no circumstances accept any item(s) for return without an Approved Return Authorisation Number or any item that was not sent in accordance with the Return Delivery Instructions. All item(s) being return must be fully insured for the total purchase price of the item(s) and Diamond imports will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during return shipping of the item(s).

Please note that any item(s) showing signs of wear and tear or item(s) that have been engraved, altered, resized (by a jeweller other than Diamond Imports), or damaged in any way cannot be accepted for return.

Item(s) without a completed Return Request Form, returns without a Diamond Imports Return Authorisation Number and returns that do not follow the Return Process Instructions or that are sent improperly packaged or uninsured will not be accepted and will be refused receipt.

Please note that for international customers the return instructions are important to minimise your costs for the return delivery fees and any applicable customs fees.

The customer will pay and be responsible for all shipping costs for the return of the item(s) to Diamond Imports. Under no circumstances will Diamond Imports be responsible for any shipping or insurance costs.

 Return Process
When you receive your Approved RMA # secure your item(s) and all the original paperwork you received with the item in a plainly wrapped cardboard box (available at the post office). Send the package using Express Post Platinum service or Registered Insured Mail, as this is the safest way to ship high-value items. Returns posted from outside Australia should be sent using a reputable courier service such as FedEx or UPS.

*Diamond Imports is not responsible for loss or damage to item(s) whilst in transit and being returned.

For security reasons DO NOT address your return to Diamond Imports.

Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package in the senders area.

Note: Please be careful NOT to write Diamond Imports or any other luxury-related words anywhere on the package as this invites possible theft.

 Inspection & Verification
Upon receiving your return, the item(s) will be reviewed by our Quality Assurance department who will inspect the returned item(s) and investigate whether a refund, a replacement or repair is warranted. Diamond Imports will then contact the customer to inform them of either a refund, replacement or repair for the item(s). Any replacement or repair will be sent back to the customer free of new shipping charges. All diamonds, jewellery and item(s) returned are subject to inspection and verification before any refund or credit is given. Refunds can take up to 10 business days to process upon receipt of the item(s).

 Processing Refunds
Diamond Imports will refund the original purchase price of the item(s) returned within the time-frame and manner specified above, LESS ORIGINAL SHIPPING, INSURANCE COSTS or EXPENSES.The refund shall be made in the same form of payment the original purchase was transacted. For example, the refund will be a credit back to the purchasing credit card, or wire transfer, etc.

You have 14 days from the purchase date to return the diamond following the conditions in the returns policy. The diamond purchase price, less any shipping or other related expenses will be refunded after the diamond has been returned, inspected and verified.

All item(s) and diamonds must be returned in the original condition and with the original packaging, with the purchaser liable for any insurance, postage charges or other expenses. There must be no evidence of wear and tear, damage or alterations before a refund will be given. In the case of certified diamonds, the diamond must be returned with the original certificate or a replacement charge of $250 may be incurred.

Please note that this policy ONLY applies to goods that have not been custom made or sighted (seen) by the customer such as online purchases and purchases by telephone order. Goods that have been sighted prior to purchase or goods purchased in our office are not covered by this policy.

 Return Exemptions
Diamond Imports reserve the right to refuse to refund the price of the product if the returned item(s) is not in its original new and unused condition; return item(s) not accompanied by all of their original documentation WILL NOT BE HONOURED; all diamonds must be in new condition and unused condition without having been altered in any way and not have been set in jewellery; if the item(s) returned are found not to be faulty or damaged; any damage or faults that are not reported within 14 days; after contacting Diamond Imports and receiving a Return Authorisation & RMA Number returns must be received by us within 5 days or the 14 day money back guarantee will be void; the 14 day money back guarantee does not apply if Diamond Imports have specially made the product at the customer’s request (custom made item); or if the product has been engraved at the customer's request (a personalised engraving); products that have been sighted prior to purchase or products purchased in our office are not covered by this policy; or if you have changed your mind and you no longer wish to keep the product unless the product was purchased on a 'Diamond Comparison Basis' as clearly stated on the original Tax Invoice.

 Terms & Conditions May Change

Diamond Imports Pty Ltd reserves the right to update or modify the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice. Your use of the diamondimports.com.au web site following any such change constitutes your agreement to follow and be bound by the terms and conditions as changed. For this reason, we encourage you to review the terms and conditions whenever you use this web site or before making a purchase.
