"If you are considering using Diamond Imports and Daniel Katz to assist you in your diamond purchase I think that you must first realise that you will be dealing with a Diamond Expert as opposed to a Diamond Sales-man. Daniel is noticably different from his competitors. His knowledge about the diamond industry is second to none, he is honest and patient. Definatley not the used car service I experienced elsewhere where all they were concerned about was making a sale.

"To celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary, it was time to upgrade my wife’s wedding band to a decent diamond setting. We tried to learn as much as we could about diamonds via the web and in the retail stores and knew the choice of the diamond had to come first. We found the Diamond Imports website to be extremely user friendly & had actual information about in stock diamonds so we called Danny for an appointment and found a courteous, direct and informative diamond merchant. "We had done a lot of investigating about what we actually wanted as my engagement ring..after all you’re going to be wearing it along time and you have to love it and be able to afford it!
A colleague happened to mention Diamond Imports and that we should definitely call them. Mind you this was the day before my fiancée and I were getting up at 6am to drive up to the central coast to see a diamond there. I was convinced that we had found the best deal for a one carat asscher cut diamond.
Then the phone call with Danny happened. I told Danny what we were looking for and I was up front that we had found a stone and were looking at it the next day...not only did he listen to me but spent about an hour just talking about diamonds and what we should be looking for and then called me back and gave me more tips about what we should be asking the central coast jeweller.

"I found Danny a couple of years ago when I was looking to buy a serious quality diamond for my wife. I had visited the usual high end Sydney retailers, and while I am no expert, I felt I knew enough to gauge what I was buying. The main difference between buying from a retail store and Danny at Diamond Imports is that he is 100% honest in what he presents to you and offers that at a fair price.
There are no cheap diamonds anywhere in the world, only variations in quality, with Danny you know what you are buying and as I said you get that at a major discount to a retail jewellery store.
The other amazing thing is he has certified diamonds with grades you usually don’t see in Australia which he will sell to you IF you are nice to him, and he hasn't fallen in love with them.

"The very direct no nonsense Daniel Katz of Diamond Imports was the only person who actually had the right diamond at the right price. We were becoming increasingly frustrated by the unprofessional behaviour of diamond jewellers who were all selling inferior quality diamonds at inflated prices with very questionable grading reports.
