“Laser Inscription H & A”
GIA DOES NOT GRADE “H & A” ( HEARTS & ARROWS) DIAMONDS
GIA has chosen to ignore the ambiguity.

Did you see how GIA mentions the ‘Additional Inscription: H&A’ on their own web site?
So why would GIA not use the same terminology on their Grading Reports?
The next questions that should be asked are -
Who laser inscribed the H&A on these diamonds and why?
Whatever the answers, it does not detract from the fact that this H&A laser inscription is an Additional Inscription which does not confirm that the diamond is indeed a H&A or Hearts & Arrows diamond.
These GIA H&A diamonds may be excellent cut diamonds but this does not mean the diamond meets the strict symmetrical criteria of a hearts and arrows diamond which is usually very rare.
If any vendor is selling you a diamond with the additional H&A inscription noted on the GIA grading report please have your diamond re examined to ensure the diamond meets excellent symmetry requirements and perhaps may be also a true H&A or Hearts & Arrows diamond.
A genuine Hearts & Arrows Ideal Excellent hand precision cut and polished round brilliant diamond epitomises the art of diamond cutting perfection.
The reason these diamonds cost more is usually because of the extra time taken to attain sheer perfection.

” Dear Daniel,
I know that many manufacturers and/or wholesalers asking GIA to inscribe “H&A” on the girdle when the stone is actually without the Hearts & Arrows effect!!! I personally saw stones like these going around here in Israel…..
You have my support!
